HOME GROUPS
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)
The first Christians met regularly to hear & share truth
Our home groups are smaller mid-week gatherings that meet during school terms. We call these ‘home groups’ not because we necessarily meet in each others houses (though some groups do), but because they are places where we can share our lives with each other. We catch up for supper, chat, pray, read the Bible, and think about what it means for us. We currently have three groups. The first group meets every Wednesday night at 7.30pm. The second meets every Thursday night at 5pm for a ‘pot luck’ dinner followed by a Bible study and prayer time from 6.15pm. And the third meets every second week on Friday afternoons at 12.45pm (for ladies). The Bible study material we use generally follows our sermon series and is usually distributed to members of groups by their leaders or collected from our Administration assistant, Michelle.
